The California Supreme Court is hearing arguments on the validity of Proposition 8 on March 5th, and in case you hadn't noticed: This Blog Supports Marriage Equality. So watch this, cry some, and then email it to someone (maybe someone who's not totally sure of where they stand on marriage equality). Even better: go sign the petition at the Courage Campaign.

thanks for this. it's truly heart breaking. (Of course, it only contributes to the reaffirmation of my misanthropy; of the intolerance and bigotry of my own species and my hope for an early exit of a very sad and misdirected Homo sapiens experiment.)
I posted this a few days ago. I think everyone should watch that video. It is very touching.
Sigh....dial up doesn't do video. But I am certainly praying that the California Supremes do the right thing and strike down this ugly law.
It is sweet to see these happy, loving people together, real people, real lives, real relationships, real love, who had real marriages. This is one issue that everyone needs to get behind to push for the change, because it is a denial of a core civil and human right.
When others don;t express an urgency about it, I have to ask if they were being denied the ability to marry, and all the legal rights that come with marriage, they would feel more passionate & urgent about it.
Border Explorer,
What a lovely video! Thank you for posting this timely and most heartbreaking video.
I am as hetero as they come but I support same sex marriage. That little girls face says it all!
So Beautiful, So very Beautiful,
Thank you for your light,
Maithri
Very beautiful.
Maybe there will someday be a time when we are happy because of the happiness of others.
I signed.
What a wonderful collection of responses...each an expression of the individual...together they create a beautiful constellation, much as the night stars create pictures in the sky.
[I deleted a spam comment that tried to add a collection of free links onto my site. So I guess there's a black hole in the constellation from time to time...Order restored!]
I echo all the other comments, especially Fran's -
